I got all 4 books on CD and listened to them one after another. So glad I didn’t discover this after the first book was written, the waiting would have killed me, much the way waiting for the movies is killing me. LOL. Great book for young audiences. Love the romance and celibacy……I would let my grandkids read it if they weren’t only 4 and 5!!
I can’t believe some of the reviews, it is FICTION, folks. That is why it is unbelievable, it’s called fiction. Why do people have to be so serious. Getting lost in fantasy is a good thing. Stephenie allowed some wonderful entertainment.

While I can appreciate the series as a whole, I was never more aware while reading it that I was “reading” then when I made my way through the second novel. I found myself bored with meaningless text ready to fight my way back to the action, and I think that is what made this such a quick read. If your reading the series you might as well read all four, but trust me when I say,
If you can make it past book two, three is as riveting as the series gets, the story line for the first half of the book will catch you by surprise when the real issue is brought out. I have never enjoyed hating a charicter so much, and when you get to the end, there is a funny sence of life in the fact that nothing seems to work out “just right”…
Book 2 is not the best book,
and the ending in book 4 will have you wondering if you missed something…
It reminds me of filling up a water balloon as a child, your excited(Book 1) then it takes a while to get it going(book 2), You realize your close to being ready to throw the balloon(book 3), and then it pops all over you and your a little upset…(book 4)…
